The times they are a changin’

The times they are a changin’

Bob Dylan - 1964

Come gather 'round people

Wherever you roam

And admit that the waters

Around you have grown

And accept it that soon

Yoùll be drenched to the bone.

If your time to you

Is worth savin'

Then you better start swimmin'

Or yoùll sink like a stone

For the times they are a-changin'.

The line it is drawn

The curse it is cast

The slow one now

Will later be fast

As the present now

Will later be past

The order is

Rapidly fadin'.

And the first one now

Will later be last

For the times they are a-changin'

The first and the last verse of Bob Dylan’s song “The times they are a changin’” written in 1964, I believe in a very realistic way describe the situation and the challenges that we are experiencing, but they also provide me with the means to explain why, after 14 years since I founded 130 FINANCE (1999), I decided to edit the 130 FINANCE website.

In 1964 I was too young to understand what was happening, today I’m sufficiently grown up and experienced to understand what’ going on and what can be the developments that we might wait for. I believe that for the good of all, as for the business in which I’m involved in, it is appropriate to raise the suggestion “you better start swimmin' or yoùll sink like a stone” from the first verse of the song by Dylan, for the good reasons set out in the last verse.

Throughout the period from 1999 to date two fundamental ingredients have guided my choices: try to focus on maintaining a long-term vision of the role of finance in relation to the economy and to society, and enthusiasm in accepting the challenges in the belief that join the game determined to contribute is better deal from spectator. To date this approach has paid off moral, professional and economical efforts.

To publish the website of 130 FINANCE and the commitment to keep it alive and updated is the testimony, as happened to the site (online since 2001), of the awareness and willingness to exit the "shell" represented by professional relationships, in order to broaden the audience of stakeholders and potential partners and to share business development opportunities and ideas.

In addition, both the presence of a page named "New Projects" that will come soon with some proposals for the development of new activities, and the intention to activate soon interchange web tools, are testimony of the intentions underpinning the choice go online with the site.

People are the assets upon which you can build a balanced and a long term development of the activity, maintaining high service standards and adopting a creative approach in tackling the problems. Only an appropriate training and the sharing of values and objectives make it possible to meet these alleys.

The site wants to communicate to all individuals and organizations who wish to share these values and these goals our presence and represents an invitation to submit his/her/its candidacy and to share ideas.
